Members of the Newton Republican City Committee (inclusive of all eight wards) will elect delegates to represent Newton at the Massachusetts Republican Party Convention on Saturday\, April 25.\n\nServing as a convention delegate is one of the most important ways local Republicans can shape the future of our party. Delegates vote to determine which candidates receive the official MassGOP endorsement\, including the party’s preferred candidate for Governor and other statewide offices\, for the ensuing State Primary. These endorsements play a key role in setting the direction and message of the Republican Party in Massachusetts.\n\nThe delegate registration fee is $150\, which covers convention participation costs.\n\nDelegates must have been a registered Republican in Newton by December 31\, 2025. Delegates do not need to be a member of the Newton Republican City Committee.\n\nInstructions for advance name submission\, including scheduling an interview for eligibility\, will be provided upon request at info@newtonrepublicans.org.
